Kdun – Historic Honor has been officially granted to the Mingus Park Community Building in Coos Bay, Oregon better known to locals as the “Scout Cabin.” The National Park Service recently added this long-standing structure at 850 W Park Roadway to the National Register of Historic Places, earning it a place among the most treasured historic sites in the state. The designation was confirmed following a review by Oregon’s State Advisory Committee on Historic Preservation (SACHP), which evaluates sites of historical and cultural significance across Oregon.
