Kdun – Coquille Unites once again for an evening of safety, celebration, and community spirit as the Coquille Police Department and Coquille Fire Department announce their upcoming National Night Out 2025. The event is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, August 5, from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Coquille Community Building and it promises to be more than just a meet-and-greet.
National Night Out is a longstanding, nationwide initiative designed to strengthen partnerships between law enforcement and the public. This year’s theme for Coquille focuses on building trust, reducing crime through engagement, and simply getting neighbors to know one another better in a festive and safe environment.
Coquille Unites local families, public safety personnel, and civic leaders for an event packed with family-friendly activities. Attendees can expect interactive booths, safety demonstrations, fire truck and patrol car tours, games for kids, and live music. Free refreshments will also be available to keep the community fueled for fun throughout the evening.

Members of both the police and fire departments will be on hand to answer questions, share tips on crime and fire prevention, and highlight how their teams work behind the scenes to keep the community safe. The event also serves as a great opportunity to thank the first responders who serve Coquille every day.
As Coquille Unites for this important evening, the event stands as a testament to the town’s dedication to stronger neighborhoods and open dialogue. Events like these go beyond entertainment; they reflect a deeper investment in public safety and social well-being. By bridging the gap between law enforcement and citizens, Coquille continues to foster a culture of trust and transparency.
Whether you’re new to the area or a lifelong resident, National Night Out is the perfect chance to show community pride and connect with those working to protect and serve.
